Pack sizes 200 L drums and 1,000 L IBCs
Application Ground applied
Made in New Zealand
Product function

Food and habitat for soil biology

  • Fish hydrolysate supplies organic nutrients, amino compounds, and marine-derived inputs.
  • Molasses provides an accessible carbon source to help feed beneficial soil microbes.
  • Charged biochar provides stable carbon structure and habitat around the root zone.
  • Water We supply the biology. You add the water!

Fungal Feeder is deliberately positioned as a biology treatment rather than a replacement for a complete fertiliser programme. Its role is to support the living system around plant roots.

Practical biological support

Key benefits

  • Supports beneficial fungal activity in the soil
  • Feeds microbial biology with fish hydrolysate and molasses
  • Supports root-zone activity and nutrient cycling
  • Provides charged biochar as a stable microbial habitat
  • Suitable for biological and regenerative programmes
  • Designed for pasture, orchard, horticulture, and cropping systems
Where it fits

Ideal applications

  • Pasture and dairy soil programmes
  • Orchards, vines, berries, and horticulture
  • Cropping systems prioritising root-zone biology
  • Soils affected by repeated cultivation or intensive inputs
  • Spring, summer and autumn biological soil programmes
  • Operations beginning a wider BioCharge programme

Bio Charge application guidance

Application programme

30 L/ha × 3 Three applications at 30 L/ha: one in spring, one in summer and one in autumn, for a total programme of 90 L/ha.

  • Mix at a minimum of one part Fungal Feeder to two parts water.
  • A 1,000 L IBC provides approximately 33 hectares for one application at 30 L/ha, or 11 hectares for the full 90 L/ha programme.
  • Apply as a ground treatment through suitable biological-liquid spray equipment.
  • Apply when soil moisture is present and biological activity is supported.
