Important: DAPR is a natural product and analysis can vary. Current testing uses X-ray fluorescence (XRF) for elemental analysis. Interpret cadmium findings with the method and reporting limit: non-detect is not the same as zero. Confirm the current product specification and seek farm-specific advice before application.

01 A local geological story The Clarendon deposit formed as marine sediment around 25 million years ago, about 35km south of Dunedin.
02 Medium-reactivity DAPR Its chemical properties place it in the direct application phosphate rock category rather than the RPR category.

Phosphate rock contains more than phosphorus. Its geological source influences the minerals and naturally occurring trace elements that come with it—including cadmium.

Bio Charge DAPR comes from New Zealand’s Clarendon deposit. We believe understanding what we supply means asking better questions, using appropriate testing and being transparent about what the results show.

Our current testing uses X-ray fluorescence (XRF) to analyse elemental composition. Cadmium findings must be interpreted alongside the method and reporting limit; an omitted element or a result below that limit is not proof that cadmium is absent.

Our goal is to keep unwanted trace elements as low as practically achievable, working towards non-detect results where appropriate quantitative testing can reliably demonstrate them. Non-detect is our ambition, not a claim established by our current testing.
